How can I share files securely?
Lets cut straight to the good stuff. Here are my recommended ways of sharing files easily, without compromising privacy and security.
FileSend by StandardNotes is a fast and easy way to share a file using a link. Files are encrypted and everything is done through your browser without the need of any account. The bigger the file the slower the process will be since most things will be done client sided so encrypting/decrypting files will be heavy on the browser. (50MB limit)
"Send" fork is a fast and easy way to send files with end-to-end encryption using a link. (10GB limit)
OnionShare is a fantastic option, but it would require Tor access and might not be the best option for everyone. OnionShare is also filled with many other useful features not related to file sharing. Unlimited, no limits.
