How do I fix The Sims 3 not launching on Windows 10/11?
It appears The Sims 3 has issues running on newer computers and may not launch for you.
First, make sure you have installed all of the required drivers that might be needed. After you installed them, restart your computer and try to start The Sims 3.
The above steps will most likely fail, so here is a simple way to launch The Sims 3 on your Windows computer:
- Download the file(s) provided below for the version of Sims 3 you have installed. (Sims3.ps1 for regular sims. TSM.ps1 for Medieval.)
- Right click on the file and click "Run with PowerShell"
- It may ask you a question when it runs, simply type "Y" and press Enter.
- Once the script it running, simply run The Sims 3, thats it!
This should work on all versions of The Sims 3 including, Origin, Steam, and even cracked version.
